PS: what is Skyrim?...I truly have no idea what it is.

I love it when people ask questions for strangers on the internet to answer that are so easily Google-able.

Geesh... at first glance, this site looks WAY better than StackOverflow, but the people tend to be rude, harsh, and unforgiving to obvious noobs. Cya!

Can't decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. Thinking, on balance, not so bad.

Awwww.. let's not be too serious. Though, with a username that has 'chump' in it, I read that with a sad trombone sound clip. :D

In a lounge thread, in a non-programming discussion, asking a question that doesn't really add anything to a discussion that had basically died its natural death that you resurrected, a question that has an answer that will literally be the first hit if you google the one word you say you don't know what it means...yeah, I was a bit mean. Big deal, learn some forum etiquette.

If this were a programming help topic, I'd be much nicer and more helpful.

If you plan on saving that picture make sure you store it well. I would hate for those salty tears to turn that pristine trombone rusty.

Speaking of skyrim - did everyone see kya's blog post?

i also enjoyed how he had 'no intention to ever play skyrim' when he didn't even know what it was. for all he knows it's right up his alley and could be one of the most enjoyable experiences of his life. but no, NO INTENTION of taking part in this activity that i have not even taken the time to figure out what it is.

this is not sarcasm, I truly have no idea what it is.

I also didn't know what Skyrim was, then I took and arrow in the knee and started playing. Don't worry. It happens to all of us sooner or later...

Thanks farrell2k... I really thought my printout needed to get a spray of water from laughing at that joke.

I bought it on sale last week but my computer sucks too hard to play it. Still got it while it was cheap. Soon, though, soon.

Yeah you might find Oblivion (the last elders scrolls game) to be good too, it could keep you occupied until you get a system upgrade. Just a suggestion! (Personally i found Morrowind to have the most imagination in it, but its kind of a dated game).

I think we're in the same town (could be wrong, you've just mentioned local landmarks). My roommate's got a spare motherboard with cpu/ram (I think 8gb) that should be able to handle Skyrim, though it still needs a video card. If you're interested I can check the specs and see what he wants for it. I have an extra case too but it's rather crap and has been cannibalized

psssst

Fallout 3 was the last game in the Elder Scrolls Franchise. It's why I am so so disappointed in it :(
