A Problem with Apache + PHP

Posted 16 May 2013 - 11:55 AM

I've installed Apache server (2.0.48) and PHP (4.3.4) and I've encountered this problem when trying to get variables from the address bar (don't know any other way to describe it). it can't get the id variable from there. i don't know if the problem is with apache settings or php.ini.
thanks in advance.

You need to use the $_GET superglobal to access variables passed in this manner.

er, you know that the current version of PHP is 5.4? PHP 4 is long outdated and really shouldn’t be used any more.

BUSTED.

Interestingly, that thread over there was ten years old and was uselessly bumped a couple of months ago. Wonder if that's some sort of sign...
