User 3

Quality 5/5 - Service 5/5 - Environment 5/5 - Value for money 5/5

total number of stars / number of ratings. so for your example it would be 15/3 = 5

Is this what you were looking for?

Lets examine the quality. If you add all 4 of the ratings it would be 3 + 5 + 1 + 4 =13. There were a total of 4 ratings which led to the sum of 13. so if we divide the total number of stars earned by how many ratings were registered your would get 13/4. which equals 3.25. (if you dont have a gui for half stars ect i would use a floor or ceiling function to keep a nice even number.) Total number of stars earned / number of votes. Hope this helps
