Announcement: MIT Press 50% off sale through 3 June 2013

Posted 30 May 2013 - 12:26 PM

If you've been putting off buying any MIT Press titles, this might be a good thing to know about. 50% off all of their titles, this week (physical books only - no deals on the ebooks).
http://mitpress.mit....ge-sale-details

This would include some pretty cool titles like Cormen et al's Introduction to Algorithms, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, The Little Schemer, as well as a round ton of other stuff. (Bicycling Science by David Wilson is excellent, and there's some pretty cool stuff on cognition as well)

I hope nobody's offended by the commercial announcement, but I think it's probably of general interest. I wasn't sure what forum would be the right one, so if anyone wants to move it, go ahead.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 2

I think the only offense I will take is from my wallet being abused.

Wow buying books from the MITPress is a pain. Maybe I'm just becoming lazy.
