how can i add a progress bar to my program

Posted 12 June 2013 - 11:58 AM

i have worked on a new program in visual studio but i have no idea how i can add a progress bare to my program.
my program is a basic download programm were you need to click on a button and your download begins but I tried to add a progress bar but could not figure it out here is my script:
Public Class Form1
Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load

    End Sub

Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile _
    ("https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/45798270/client/update/minecraft.jar", _
    "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\minecraft.jar")

    End Sub

Private Sub ProgressBar1_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles ProgressBar1.Click

    End Sub

Private Sub Timer1_Tick(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Timer1.Tick

    End Sub

End Class

pls copy paste this script in a comment with a solution if you have one
