Avoid replacing HTML characters with normal characters

Posted 17 June 2013 - 04:45 AM

Hello,

I have a text file (xml file) in which I have characters in html format (eg. ' for '). When I'm using File.Copy(...) to copy that file to other place the html characters are replaced with normal characters. How can I avoid this when I want to copy a file?

Are you sure they're being converted? Or is the program you use to open up the file doing the conversion for you? File.Copy should just be a bit-by-bit copy; it doesn't go into your XML and change things.
