YAML for Minecraft Server

Posted 22 June 2013 - 12:38 PM

So I'm trying to get these permissions to work, and the plugin is using YAML for the format.

groups:
  Default:
    default: true
    prefix: '[Guest]'
    suffix: ''
    permissions:
    - modifyworld.*
    - commandbook.who
    - commandbook.motd
    - commandbook.rules
    - commandbook.time.check
    - commandbook.spawn
    - commandbook.return
    - commandbook.home.teleport
    - commandbook.home.set
    - commandbook.warp.teleport
    - commandbook.warp.list
    - commandbook.say.me
    - commandbook.msg
    - commandbook.whereami
    - antigrief.bypass.bucket.water
    - antigrief.bypass.egg
  Moderator:
    prefix: '[Mod]'
    suffix: ''
    permissions: null
    - commandbook.time
    - commnadbook.give
    - commandbook.weather
    - commandbook.teleport
    - commandbook.broadcast
    - commandbook.mute
    - commandbook.heal
    - commandbook.gamemode
    - commandbook.kick
    - commandbook.ban
    - antigrief.bypass.bucket.lava
    - antigrief.bypass.ignite
    inheritance:
    - Default
  Admin:
    prefix: '[Admin]'
    suffix: ''
    permissions:
    - *
    inheritance:
    - Moderator

I had done the generic default user permissions, and that worked wonderfully, but when I went to put the mod group in there the parser started throwing errors. :(/>

Can anybody give any insight as to what's wrong?

Neo, try to get rid of the "null" line you have there after "permissions". This will then probably shift the error down to line 45 where apparently it has an issue with "- *". Try putting the asterisk in single quotes and see if that validates properly. According to parsers I am using, that should parse.

Yes, thank you so much. This fixed it.
