Welcome to Dream.In.Code jpjava! I have to say you are in luck coming here to learn some Java. The java mentors here are probably the strongest group available anywhere. Many of us are career programmers and some are long timers when it comes to Java. To get the best experience just be sure to post your code along with any questions you have... even if the code doesn't work or is incomplete. It always helps.

Until then, enjoy the forum and we hope to see more of you. :)

Welcome, jpjava. You'll find a wealth of knowledge on this site that will help you learn quickly and effectively if you apply yourself. Don't be afraid to ask even the smallest of things. I'm not one of these "long timers" Martyr2 speaks of, but that only means I can relate to you well. :)

Good luck in your studies!
