What's your favorite music player

Posted 06 July 2013 - 09:22 PM

player.

I've been using Winamp for awhile, solely because it offers syncing with my phone. Finally got fed up with it (it would crash a lot, and corrupt the DB every time! plus some metadata wouldn't transfer correctly to my phone - but the Winamp for Android was great). So I asked around and installed foobar2000, along with Google Music. Google Music syncs to my phone from which I can both stream/download my music, and foobar2000 is for desktop.

So what do you guys use? Have you found an efficient system? How do you get that delicious audio to your ears at all times?!

I use iTunes because I have an iPhone. It does the job and I'm not overly picky, so I've just stuck with it.

Foobar 2000 and VLC are good, but thats just me. Also, FLAC for lossless audio all the way.

Haha, funny you asked that, I made a custom player with C# so that it plays non-lyrical music for 25 minutes and then plays lyrical music in 5 minutes.

I wanted to have a player that syncs with my pomodoro, and it feels so cool making your own music player ^^/>

I use vlc though for general playing.

I typically use pandora, but when I am at home and have access to my TV I use mog. It has pretty much the same selection of music, but I get to choose what is played and when.
