I drink enough, I brew up a pot of tea like every half hour haha. Walking outside might be good, it's not exactly something that is practical all the time however.

Desk toys and such probably won't help, I'm not necessarily doing one thing constantly for hours, even when I'm doing physical labour at my part time job (construction work, so lots of lifting and such) I get tired, even if I'm doing things I enjoy and want to do I get stopped in my tracks. Talking to people doesn't help much either at college during lunch breaks I would still end up half dead, haha.

Definitely drink more water. Green tea has a lot of caffeine in it.

Otherwise, sounds like a nap is what you need.

Wait, you're serious... ok, I still like my drugs, but there's only so far that will get you.

Food is a biggie. Even when "eating healthy," too many carbs will knock you out. Try a high protein ( or all protein ) breakfast. I usually avoid lunch, but snack on nuts.

Every hour, move around. Get up, stretch. If you drink enough water then journeys to the bathroom will often cover this.

Eye strain will kill you. Focus at a distance every so often. Come up out of the screen.

When I'm really sinking and coffee is failing, I'll sometimes put on the head phones and listen to something loud and energetic.

I work in a six-story building. Up and down the stairs twice briskly takes a few minutes and wakes me up nicely. People look at you funny, but that's okay.

I drink lots of water too, especially now it's hot and actually the caffeine content in green tea is fairly low, much less so than coffee or tea, it also depends on what tea you have, I also drink loose leaf tea which is generally better quality than bagged tea.

Wake up early to get work done if you're not a night owl. Work with your personal circadian rhythm. Either way, it's pretty normal to get drowsy around 3pm, but if it's that debilitating, consider taking a 30-45 minute nap when it hits you. Also, while healthy, exercise definitely wears you out. It's okay to chill out every once in a while. You're probably in the best position to diagnose your problem.

I'm definitely more of a morning person, so that's generally what I do. I wasn't really asking for a diagnosis, just what people do in order to stay awake and alert.

Ammonia poppers are no joke. Hit one of those twice hard, and every other waking moment will seem like near-coma in comparison...
