You will need to learn more than just XML. There are actually some tutorials out there on MSDN regarding making a web browser in VB.net (and probably C#.net and VC++) you should follow those to create a desktop-based browser and get familiar with the necessary workflow. Once you have done that you can duplicate the steps (I expect they have most of the same controls for their phone application builder as their desktop variety) to create a mobile version.

NOTE - This will be using Windows' built-in rendering engine (Internet Explorer). But you can put your own frame around it (like adding bookmarks, back and forward buttons, etc.).

A quick search showed this:

http://www.dreaminco...e-a-webbrowser/

So there is no reason to leave DreamInCode :)

Hope that helps.

Not clear on if you were making a complete new browser for your app or just wanted access to internet via a browser?

Windows Phone has pretty sweet task classes for stuff like Camera Capture, Browser, Email ..ect.

If you want a simple way to call a browser in your app I would use
using System;
using Microsoft.Phone.Tasks;
///////////////////////////////
///////////////////////////////
WebBrowserTask webBrowserTask = new WebBrowserTask();

webBrowserTask.Uri = new Uri("http://google.com", UriKind.Absolute);

webBrowserTask.Show();
