Web Software Development

Posted 15 July 2013 - 02:13 PM

Hello. My name is Tim Vittetoe. I've had about 20 years in s/w development, but mostly used a traditional approach. I am new to this community, but wanted to find out how SCRUM works for web site development, or if there is another agile software development approach that is better. I wrote a blog on using SCRUM for software development and it seems like the approach would work well for any s/w project whether it's for desktop use, hosted, or for a web site, but wanted to ask.

Thanks!

Tim

Welcome to the forum! That's a long way outside any of my areas of interest, so I can't be of much help there. I'm sure there's someone here who could though, I'd suggest asking in the Web Development forum. :)

Yes.. Scrum works fine with web dev. Plenty of stories on it working, any tweaks to regular ol' scrum experiences, and so on with a quick search of "scrum web development".
