I think a lot of the point being made as well is that you're wandering aimlessly, and we can't help you pick out a language if you don't have a goal in mind. Start with this thread. Read through everyone's suggestions. It's really the best starting point we can give you.

snap! thats a lie sorry am only good with html and css i have looked at java and c++ no experience there and i've never done any scripting languages. By pirated books what exactly do you mean?

Books obtained through less than legitimate means where that mode of distribution violates the intent of the author or copyrights. Basically - don't swap 'for pay' books like they were 'free to the public'.

oh i see so lets say i buy a book online and then i swap or give it to you for free i will be putting the author at a disadvantage as he would have gained from your purchase of the book on your own ad i will also be violating the copyright agreement which restricts me from making copies of or redistributing the book without the author's permission. In a way i will be promoting PIRACY!!! I never thought of it in that manner.

Personally, I learn the most by just delving into a project and learning as I go. I usually watch a few beginner tutorials just to learn the basic stuff, but otherwise I just dive right into a project. I look up how to do things as I go on google. Aside from that, if you want to get into web development, I found PHP to be easy to learn. I'm still learning javascript though so I'm not sure.
