Personally, I like it. It's clean, professional, easy to read. Only thing I could think of is that the text on the picture is hard to read at the field because the end of '...cottages' is on a white background.

Also, that picture took a good 30 seconds to load.

I had CS3 installed on my machine for a couple of hours, then i got rid of it. CS2 seems perfect...

As for my tutorials, I could give a try... However, there are a lot of great resources out there..

anyway, I am embarking on a new project, the design is almost finished. I guess the designing process might be described in detail ???

OR>>>>> you could take your tutorials you have, and add them to our repository at dream.in.code, the resource for everything web.design.

okay, the site.

i like it,
clean , professional good,

critiques are what this is about though

a) the gallery
clicking on the picture results in closing the window you opened. unexpected. normally clicking the picture advances the slide-show. at the same time, not having a close button , i would close the window manually instead of intuitively thinking about clicking the picture

B) i don't mind the highlighting of the info boxes, but the highlighting of the pictures (i saw it on the attractions page) makes them look like links. i clicked multiple times trying to expand. :)

c) this is a small thing, and i'm not sure why its doing this. lil css blip.
clicking the contact button causes a horizontal scrollbar to pop up underneath your navigation.
(FF 2.0.0.6 on XP)

nice site good work.

Thanks for your comments. I`ve fixed the overflow property in my CSS file so the horizontal scrollbar does not show up any more..

As for the gallery, I`ll get in touch with my PHP developer asap.. Highlighting the images seems ok to me since the cursor remains the same... however, different people, different approaches.. I might consider removing it if it turns out to be a big issue...

Glasseater

I have some wallpapers on my pc[created from a scratch..]. I thought you might be interested as I`ve noticed that the download section on your site is empty for the time being...

my work is strange, though. anyway, you can have a look and tell me what
you think..

Cheers

Nice site!

Love the colours, layout and overall design. But mainImage2.png is too large (nearly a mb) it takes ages to load.
no .png transparency in IE 6. You could get the same effect without transparency by just fading into the background gradient before you saveas png.

Also from a usability point of view it would be nice to know what page i am looking at. You could change the menu at the top to remain highlighted when that link is active etc?

Thats all i can spot. :D

What country is that in cause I want to go the rates are really affordable.

Slovakia, Central/Eastern Europe depending on who you are asking.

I`d say Central Europe since Slovakia is known for being the heart of Europe.. It is right in the middle..

anyway, thanks for your comments. That png image turned out to be a little issue, though, I will not convert it into a jpeg format because of IE 6.0. IE 6.0 should be removed and flushed down the toilet...

I`ll attach a link to download Netscape Navigator:))

badtown,

can it be done in CSS? an active page? there is a property designed to take care of it, however, it does not seem to work with web browsers.. Java script might fix it, i guess..

Very nice work. The layout is nice and clean, professional. I love the map on the transport page, all drawn in crayon or whatever it actually fits well in the page.

I like the images on the various pages, I'm not sure why they light up but don't link anywhere, maybe just have them be static.

I can't really find any real complaints though, it looks great.
