What I have made so far, is a slide slow, where image paths are hardcoded in the html page, like this:
<asp:Content ID="Content2" ContentPlaceHolderID="ContentPlaceHolder1" Runat="Server"> <div id="slideshow"> <img src="DiasImages/Pic1.jpg" alt="" class="active" /> <img src="DiasImages/Foto%2048.jpg" alt="" /> ... </div> </asp:Content>
But now I will upload images to a server, and I wan't images to be fetched from the server and shown. So I don't want to hardcode
every new image that is uploaded to the server in the html page, but rather, this should be shown automatically once uploaded.
I'm not really sure what to google for to find a tutorial on this exact problem I have. Can anyone help me out? Or maybe you have the perfect tutorial or link to help me solve my problem. Thanks in advance.
And another thing.
I am gonna be using a MySQL database, but I guess images should not be saved in the database tables itself? Won't that affect perfomance eventually, as the size of images grow?
Ps. I am using asp.net
