In this series of tutorials, Iíll show you how to make a neon twin stick shooter like Geometry Wars, which we will call Shape Blaster, in XNA. The goal of these tutorials is not to leave you with an exact replica of Geometry Wars, but rather to go over the necessary elements that will allow you to create your own high-quality variant.

Cool!

This tutorial made me wonder, is it possible to make the sprites glow without using HLSL and does that mean that you can't use SpriteBatch?
