imam talking about going at least the speed limit--- if you are under the speed limit then you have other issues going on like perhaps you shouldnt be driving if you cant even do the speed limit.

Also if you are doing the speed limit I will not tail gate you. I only do that on the highway where there are passing lanes and our law is meant for "slower" traffic to stay out of the passing lane.

I didn't mean I go under the speed limit, in fact I'm usually doing 5 over. I was saying that if you want to go faster then that don't ride my ass or be prepared to slow way down.

@No2 When I was a full-time EMT I was trained to drive in the left lane so for me it's more of an instinct thing then anything else. I do agree, though, that 99% of the people are just driving in the left lane for no good reason and should just get over.

Has anyone heard of a troll called spoonlicker? some of the more veteran members of c++.com are a little wary of new comers asking them for help, wasting their time and then revealing themselves to be spoonlicker.

unfortunately newcomers are suspected and treated quite strangely at first, the troll definitely scarred them in some way, I wouldn't say it was amusing though, I wouldn't want to encourage the troll.

Pisses me off, like come on, we will see your post, and if we want, we will also reply.

Edit: Here in Australia, we drive on the left hand side of the road. Our cars steering wheels are on the right hand side... does that make you trip? ;) I tend to slow down for people tailgating me when I'm doing over the speed limit. Like come on, I'm already speeding. I am however, guilty of tailgating people who go slow under the speed limit.

I'm disappointed in the fact that people will tailgate/block people/go over the speed limit (by convention or not), among many other 100's of things. Is it really hard to be patient, or to drive a little more safely (even if going under the limit if possible)? It's half the reason I don't care to get my license.

Yes. But it isn't a lack of patience that makes people drive like assholes. It's because they're assholes.

I just don't like cars, nor other large/loud mechanical objects for that matter.

Bumping threads is one of those little things that get under my skin so fast, if the bumper was sitting next to me, I'd be arrested for assault and battery. For real. Don't do it. I'll cut a bitch. :fool:

Tool leaked lateralus to napster, in 2000/2001. The joke was it was tv show audio/mp3s, but cut to the actual time of the track, & titled accurately. So by the time the album actually came out, the fake songs had flooded napster making downloading the album from napster almost impossible.

I think one of the tracks was the theme song from the Dukes of Hazard.

The above was from memory, but apparently it's documented on the wiki

The creators of Game Dev Tycoon did the same type of thing with their game. Basically created a copy of the game where your games were getting pirated and you could not make any money because of it. They then leaked that one to the P2P sites and watched as the outcry for how to win when your games get pirated started to pop up on the gaming forums.

Not any harder than it is to have a little awareness that you're blocking traffic for 2 miles back and could get the fuck over.

Or off the highway.

usually the ones who ask for people to be patient are Incompetent or think the world revolves around them. Look over your shoulder and see all those people you are holding up-- that is showing disrespect for their time and their life just so you can be patient........

sorry but ive spent enough time in this world "waiting" for people--

'If possible' meaning not in such a situation. Bad wording. Anyway, for the sake of keeping the thread on topic, I'm going to stop posting back.

@DarenR

It's more about following the rules. I don't believe their is any sensible reason to be even a little over the limit. If you are going at 65 km/hr, you should think that you are 'waiting' if you are in a 60 km/hr zone.
