Decoding The URL "code"

Posted 08 August 2013 - 01:01 PM

I hope this is in the right section.

I know you can switch your url to "hide" the actual address of the web page.

For example.
If the webpage URL is "www.example.com/red_blue_23/25/12.html"
you can make it appear as "www.example.com/hide.me"

I was wondering if there is anyway to find the actual url, instead of the displayed url.

I hope this question makes sense.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

Depends on the setup. Care to share who you are trying to decode?

Never tried this before, but maybe fullscreen borderless iframe with a redirect?
