Error(Multiple Relations) While Coding SQL in Access 2010

Posted 16 August 2013 - 08:44 AM

I'm writing a sql query in Access 2010 and getting an error message saying that the field I am selecting is used in multiple relations so I need to select from just one table. I thought that I had the correct code for explicitly telling it which table to select from but I am still getting that error.

This is what I am coding.

SELECT Ingredients.IngredientID
FROM Ingredients
INNER JOIN Batch
ON Ingredients.IngredientID=Batch.IngredientID;

What am I missing here?

Thank you.

Problem solved. I was missing the declaration in my ORDER BY statement.
I had ORDER BY ingredientID not realizing that I also had to declare the table Ingredients there too.
