Publish my application

Posted 27 August 2013 - 08:12 AM

Hello,

I think I'm in the right place, correct me if I'm wrong.
I want to publish my application, using an install program (free one, like Inno Setup).

I've written my program with vb.net, using .net framework elements, and I want that the user will have to download the .net framewrok (unless he has it), so my question is, how can I implement such option in the installation file? (I want it to be installed alongside my program)...

Thanks !

Thanks for your answer, but my question still remains unanswerd.

I need a setup program which detects whether the .net framework is installed on the user's computer or not, and if not it will install it for him (after the user's agreement)..

Thanks.

Well, you're looking at a custom installer aren't you? You wrap Inno Setup in your own code that calls Inno's routines after verifying what's installed. Given that Inno Setup is open source everything is there that you need.
