Question on how to properly document Javascript / JQuery.

Posted 06 September 2013 - 04:21 AM

So I have gotten into properly documenting my code a lot more lately, but that's mostly in php. In php I stick to phpDoc standard, but when I get into Javascript, I am kind of at a loss.

How do professionals document Javascript functions?

Is there anything like phpDoc out there for Javascript or does anybody know of plugins for phpDoc to handle Javascript?

That would be ideal.

if there is phpDoc, chances are that there is also JSDoc.

note however, that there is no class concept in a prototypal language.
