Negative Senderbase Reputation for IPB JavaScript.

Posted 12 September 2013 - 12:00 PM

This could cause issues with a lot of forum functionality (quick editor, reputation, quick reply, and topic moderation) for people browsing here from work (if their workplace relies on Senderbase for site reputation data).

This is the one flagged with poor rep, though the rest of the site is fine.

Can anyone reach out to support@senderbase.org to try to figure out why we've got -9.5 (on a scale from -10 to 10, even!) rep there for that script and what we can do to fix it?

It's weird to me because the script it's flagging is a built-in script for Invision Power Board software, so I have no idea what their deal would be with it.

Have we ever thought that perhaps their system is just shit? I mean, if they are flagging a script that is common to a regularly used forum software product, they obviously have issues. Not to mention the company I work for has dealings with Cisco and they are less than stellar in other areas of software. I wouldn't take too much issue with this.

I don't disagree on any particular point. I'm just irritated that key parts of the site are unusable while I am at work because of this stupid crap :)
