Posted 20 September 2013 - 05:23 AM

Hi guys. I would like to ask for a help and any recommendations on how to improve this site.
Can I ask if it is possible to adopt features and aspects from other site?
Do I need to increase my pages or something with social media?
Please help me guys on how to improve this site. Any idea or recommendations would be gladly accepted.

This is the site : http://www.benroulston.com/

Thanks

So not my favorite word press theme in the world.. There's so many things that are just.. well.. annoying.

On first blush I have no idea what the site is about. The generic buzzwords flying in (which are annoying after ten seconds) doesn't indicate what the page is about.

The main page.. the main image.. you mouse over and there are arrows on the left and right of it that go no where.

The main page - is awfully cluttered.

When you hit a page (say about or contact) the blue bar that is RIGHT UNDER THE MENU has a link to home or back.. Breadcrumbs are interesting but that is pretty worthless.

Speaking of the contact - none of the twitter handles, facebook pages, etc link anywhere.

The twitter bird at the bottom doesn't link anywhere.

That same line has arrows left and right on the right hand size that do squat.

The footer is stupid bid.too much space in there.

The menu images are not part of the link? Booo!

Someone doesn't have their folder structure locked out either.

Over all - I am not certain what the goal of the site was.. parts didn't work.. it was cluttered.. and I probably would just assume this is a overly produced, little content, and gimmicky site (even before I read the words "most engaging and entertaining thought leaders. ").

It's your site, right? I assume you can do anything with it.

For what end or result?
