Sadly - when I am craving peanut butter - I tend to skip the celery part and just spoon my it out of the jar.

Ohh... no... it's too thick by itself. Gotta have the celery to cut through the paste.

That's what the spritz of the even more rare household item - honey (usually in bear shaped containers) - is for.
.. and milk.

I'll have to throw celery on the list for Sunday's grocery shopping... Drat. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks.

Honey and PB sounds sickeningly sweet.

And milk is just... ewww. Yogurt, I can do. Straight milk... *shudder*... no thank you.

I'll stick with my celery. :)

Anything wih peanut butter is one of my weaknesses. I do peanut butter and banana smoothies for a meal sometimes. I really love Reese's peanut butter cups but I haven't had one in a while. Peanut butter and celery was my go to snack when I was doing the ultra low carb thing. Peanut butter is awesome.

I prefer my ants made of chocolate chips rather than raisins. Not a big fan of shriveled fruit.

Hey, I might not be a young spring chicken anymore, but I never heard you complain before.

I came across this today: http://www.nerdfitness.com/

Has anyone looked into their guides or spent time in their forums?

I read the blog there. The forums are ok but not a lot of real discussion mostly just people tracking progress. They do these challenges that keep people accountable that are pretty cool. I haven't purchased any of the guides but I think he puts most of the information in the blog posts you just have to get it all over instead of just one spot.

I took some initiative and instead of saying "I'll start back into the gym on Monday" got off my butt and went back to the gym Sunday evening. Feeling a bit sore, but made sure to start at my lower numbers so I don't completely lose motivation a week or 2 in.

Last week I focused on organizing and following a proper full 8hr sleep schedule and it has been doing wonders already! Even cutting my weekend adventures with the neighbors to a short (and sensible) 1AM last call.

Overall, I'm just trying to get more healthy (same goal as I had May 2012 - May 2013 before my gym buddy moved).

My focus isn't specifically to lose weight since I am a bigger guy. I always have been and always will be built on a bigger frame. More than anything my focus is on strengthening up again, adding some Cardio (did not do any last year and on Sunday I jogged a 1/2 mile at the end of my weightlifting, 4min 51sec for those interested), and to beef up my chest and shoulders since the girlfriend already finds them attractive in my poor slobbish non-gym shape that I have fallen into... :sweatdrop: Why did I quit going to the gym, WHY!?!? :sadlike:

Was feeling a bit sore from my return to gymland on Sunday, and since I had some homework to read through I hopped on the bike last night. 35 minutes later I was 264 calories burned and 8 miles traveled! ^^ Even jogged another 1/2 mile on the track and cut my Sunday time from 4:51 to 4:15. Still room to push, but man it feels good to be back in the gym!

I know the feeling. I slacked off last week and didn't workout as hard as i usually do. Monday I got back to the normal workout and I am still feeling it today, but it feels good. I deleted the calorie tracking app from my phone and so far I think I am doing good job of keeping myself accountable. Now i just need to stop myself from stepping on the scale everyday. I notice I weigh more this morning than last week but my abs are starting to show more than last week. Too many other variables involved with weight to worry about.
