So far I've fixed an oil leak from a broken oil cooler o-ring and replaced a faulty ABS module. Dunno why but it's very fun to work on it :D

Balls. I live in Ohio and I drive a Toyota.

Yaris.

Second most spacious car I've ever been in - just slightly less so than a VW Beetle. Which I almost bought instead.

Globe City 01. But you'd have to be a complete fool to drive a dinosaur-burner in Boston.

My mother told me I was useless, so I went out and bought a 2013 Hyundai Tuscon GLS....

I do not like working on cars, but I will do oil, brake, transfer case and differential fluid (not much because it smells) changes, as well as other relatively simple things like starters and tune-ups, when I am out of warranty. Not tune-ups, because they're not covered by warranty.

I have put in an automatic starter, an aftermarket backup camera, and use my 1st gen Nexus 7 as a GPS device. I don't plan on doing anything else.

I wanted a Chevy Equinox, but Hyundai finance was willing to give me 0% interest, whereas Chevy wanted 1.9%.

I get about 23 - 25 mpg, usually, which is just as good as my old car, the 2001 Kia spectra I bought when I was poor. Well, poorer :)

I got 36 mpg (6.5 l/100 km) driving on LPG and that’s even 10% more consumption than on gas.

I have an FR-S:

Mostly it's for fun and road trips home because yay subway. I get about 29 MPG combined and I don't eff around with the accelerator.

I haven't done any work on it yet - it's still under warranty, etc. There's apparently a nice bolt-on turbo coming that could provide a little HP boost.

It also got hit by a Honda Accord who ran a stop sign a couple weeks ago (just got it back), but thankfully the damage was superficial and her insurance company footed the ~$1300 bill (repaint bumper, replace scuffed rim).

So scary. Every time I get in my car the first order of business is to get the hell out of this city and away from its terrible drivers.

I have a Nissan Almeria Tino.

Not really a cool car but it gets the kids to school.

I have a pit in my garage so I have replaced the exhaust, the sump and brake pads, myself (well me and the neighbour cos sometimes you need an extra pair of hands).

Really good excuse to have a few beers with the next door neighbour.

Yeah sure honey just fixing the car, 2 hours later.

My daily driver is now a 2012 VW Golf TDI. Gets an average of 42mpg so I am glad I traded my 2006 Mustang GT for it. I also have 1965 Mustang that I have had since I was 15 that I drive on the weekends. I used to be a mechanic at my dad's shop so I do enjoy working on my cars and have all the tools, lifts, etc at my disposal. The VW is all stock but the Mustang has many mods. It has a 302 roller motor with Roush cast iron cylinder heads, 650cfm Holley double pump carb, T5 5-speed manual transmission, Ford 9-inch rear end 4.11 gears with detroit locker. It needs a new paint job now and some body work since it has been roughed up over the last few years and the times it had to sit due to lack of funds.

Toyota Yaris, she's small and gets great fuel mileage, accomplishes exactly what I need it to.

This is south florida, flat roads and moderate temperatures, a car that goes vroom for cheap is exactly all I need.
