It'll need a little bit of cleanup on the line work, but for the most part it's done. Working on a mascot / logo for my site, what do you guys think?

You may need more of that right (its right) arm.. I am having a hard time - visually - determining what is going on with the hand, the angle, etc.

I would also work on the contrasting..the head is awfully black/dark

Additionally - the tale shadow seems.. odd. Typically the light (if not indicated) would be coming down, right? Why would it be darker on the top than on the bottom? That applies to it all.. I am unclear the light source.

Ah.. sort of.

From top left to right.. I am still unclear where the lighting is coming from, but I think.. 'topdown'.. so shade the bottom of the tail and lighten the top... you have it backwards.

The monocle is throwing off the eye.. where is it resting? Is there a defined cheek?

The hand.. oh god how am I hating that hand. I am thinking it is is.. the right hand? If so what is up with that thumb pose? Grab a can, a ball, or an apple and stand in the mirror trying to hold the object and get your right thumb to be that far pointed down and away from the viewer and angled that high. It's not possible. You need to have that bottom (broken looking) digit wrap up and around to cup the item and down farther. Again try and cup something at chin level.. look in a mirror how odd that is with the arm placement.

The bottom - again, the disembodied throws me off. I would suggest drawing the whole arm (and body) up front then cut away what you don't need.. This ensures it is positioned/proportioned right.

Which is why I leave drawings alone for a few days and get someone else to look at them. Thank ya kindly. Hands are my weakness, lighting I need to work on more, and refining will take a bit. I'll probably hammer out a few more sketches of it. The odd scanlines are basically for a more antiqued look.
