Question about creating emoticons for iOS?

Posted 29 September 2013 - 07:47 PM

I have been doing a lot of research on the topic of creating an app for the iphone. Apparently using DragonFireSDK on windows will allow you to create iphone apps that will be accepted into the app store.

However, I wanted to create an emoticon app that adds to the keyboard where you find emojii emoticon apps currently. I noticed how you can add a keyboard under the general settings on the iphone; but I can not find any example or answer for how the app would launch, download to the phone, then the user just has to add the keyboard just like the current version of emojii does.

Is this possible? Any ideas or links for further help? Thanks guys!

Then you had better make it for Android, because Apple won't allow 3rd party keyboard applications. Sorry, but it just won't happen.
