no implicit conversion from nil to integer(typeerror)

Posted 02 October 2013 - 01:05 PM

I keep getting a typeerror in this section of my code

                                                               #end of if/else
if compareCount > 0
		until compareCount < missed_questions.length

		print_question_answer(missed_questions[missedqcount],studentsAnswer[missedqcount],testAnswerfile[missed_questions[missedqcount]])

		missedqcount +=1

	end

end

You should provide the actual error message instead of making us guess which line it happens on. Additionally, you should provide the entire program, because we have no idea what compareCount is. It could be a boolean, it could be a string, it could be undefined... we aren't psychics!
