I cannot get an IF formula to work reading decimals

Posted 13 October 2013 - 10:18 AM

Hello all,
For a school project that I have to do I have to find the day that people were born on. I've done all the calculations that determinate the decimal value that should produce the day.

I've made a label that will display it but I can't get the IF nor a Case formula working, for example if the answer has .7 how would I get the IF formula only to read the decimal value? Will I have to add a new text box that will only read it and then use the if on that? If so, how would I go about that?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Is this VB6 or VB.NET?

I don't know why you would need a decimal value so you'll need to post your code (wrapped in code tags).
