Overlapping pictureboxes with transparent backgrounds

Posted 17 October 2013 - 07:40 AM

Hey all,
When I set two pictureboxes with .gif images background color to transparent and overlap them, they overlap the form's background image fine but when the two pictureboxes are overlapped the edges of the top one cover some of the bottom one with some of the forms background picture. Here's a picture to explain what I mean.

I would really appreciate an answer.

Uhh.. Can anyone tell me why my image html didn't work either?

Nevermind. It works now.

That is normal behavior for WinForms. You a couple of options; Paint the images onto 1 surface at diff locations, or use WPF - it's transparency for controls works the way you want.
