CheckBoxList help in asp.net

Posted 17 October 2013 - 11:57 AM

Hi everyone I'm new to asp.net.

I added a CheckBoxList from the Toolbox to the Login page on my website.

My question is this; once i check a ListItem in the CheckBoxList(when clicked) i want that three bars will be opened on the right side of the ListItem that was just checked (for example, the bars that will be opened are Username,Password and ID), i mean three TextBoxes beside each other.
I've been trying doing this the whole day but i'm still struggling with it.
Thanks in advance! :)

You're going to want to create an event handler for the the SelectedIndexChanged event; this event handler should then execute the methods that open those bars. We have a great tutorial on events here written by CodingSup3rnatur@l-360; this should put you on the right track.

If you're having trouble with the code to open those three bars, then you'll have to describe what you're trying to do in greater detail, and more importantly, post the code that you're trying. It's okay if it doesn't work (you wouldn't be asking for help if it did, right?), but we need to see you try something, and then we'll offer guidance based on that effort.
