Adobe Indesign

Posted 14 November 2013 - 03:31 PM

Didn't know exactly where to post this, so I thought I'd put it here.

I'm a design editor for my school's newspaper, and we're looking into possibly switching from Microsoft Publisher into another publishing software. Adobe InDesign is the publishing software we're currently looking at, but I have no experience with it. So I was wondering: have any of you had experience with InDesign? If not, is there another publishing software you think is better that I should look at?

Thanks in advance!

I am not super experienced with publishing software, but I have used both InDesign and Publisher. I liked InDesign significantly better. While it does have a large learning curve, it is pretty straight forward, and amazingly powerful (especially if you use other Adobe products already).
