As you can see from the above, I am trying to learn to program. I'm just starting out, and I heard python was a good language for starters, so I figured, I'll start there and work my way up to harder/better languages.

Hello, world!

EDIT: I also know a small portion of HTML. Not enough to build a complete website, but I'm still learnin'!

Welcome to </dream.in.code> Sajes, glad you could join us! :)

You also might want to look at VB6 as an easy language to learn. Its not OO, but its very easy to learn. You could use it to learn logical flows, logic structure and such. I gets a bad rap because it's not a powerful language, to say the least, but it would be good for a beginner to at least learn the basics. Just my opinion :)

Thanks to all who welcomed me :).

PyschoCoder, I was looking for VB6, but I can't seem to find it. I've googled it, searched on m$'s webpage, and all it comes up with are service packs that only upgrade the VB6 installation - Nothing that installs VB6. Could you point me in the right direction?

EDIT: 8:16 AM here, and I haven't been to sleep. I'll bookmark this and I'll be back later. :)

You may have to search Ebay for Visual Basic 6 or Visual Studio 6.

I got my copy from the dumpster here at work.
