What games are you most looking forward to?

Posted 13 December 2013 - 06:30 PM

What games are you all looking forward to? (any system)
What game/s are you most enjoying? (any system)

Personally I'm most looking forward to Titanfall, although I've only seen about a 10 minute gameplay. Also Watchdogs, although the same again I have only seen snippets of gameplay.

My favourite games so far have to be Assassins Creed Black Flag(xbox one) and Ryse Son of Rome(xbox one).

Wasteland 2, and the World of Darkness MMO. Elder Sign: Omens for PC and hopefully that'll do well enough that FFG will do Arkham Horror as well

I've always found the whole MLP thing slightly confusing. The appeal is lost on me and thus I find it hard to understand why others enjoy it so.

Not saying I hate /b/ronies like a lot (and I mean a lot) of people do, more that it puzzles me.

Yeah, I don't get the My Little Pony thing either.

Like Calvin, I'm looking forward to Star Citizen. It has been way too long since there was a decent game like that out, and the guy leading the development of it has some great names under his belt already, like Privateer, and Elite.

Other than that, I'm quite looking forward to seeing what they've made Elder Scrolls Online into.

I'm looking forward to a lot of expansions/DLC's but not really any games atm.

Specifically Conquest of Paradise for Eu4. It basically will allow for the America's to become a randomly generated landmass, rather then the usual shape, to allow for more exploration. The problem used to be that we always knew what was there, and the exploration of the new world had become slightly stale.

It also allows for more to happen in America. So you might arrive to find a Native American Empire already formed, ready to beat up the "puny white men".

Gaben can't count to three. It's gonna be something like "Half-Life: Insurgence"

though there's a picture of Gaben floating around showing off something in his office and in the background his wallpaper says "Half Life 3"

bastard...

as for the appeal to MLP: it's simple, really. It's the same draw as shows like Corner Gas, or Harvey Korman and Tim Conway. Sure, slipping shit past the censors is funny, but that's the majority of TV these days. I mean, Futurama is great, so is Arrested Development, but it's a significantly different style of humor. It's a softer, gentler humor. If you enjoy that, then the show is a good watch. I've never understood why people get wound up about what other people like though.

Destiny, The Division, and Watchdogs are all on my watch list. There are other games I'm sure, but those stick out in my mind, at least on the console side of things. I am extremely excited to play Elder Scrolls Online when that is released in April.

I don't have a next gen console yet, and probably won't for a while, when I do it will be PS4. I am building a new computer with the express intention of it being able to play ESO!

About the only thing that has me intrigued (game wise) about the Xbox One is Titanfall. The game looks like it could be awesome. But I'm not willing to drop $500 on the system another $60 on the game and have to pay to play it online, not when there's nothing else that is exclusive that I would want to play.

I bought my sister in law Sims 4 for Christmas.

I'm leery of any new Dragon Age titles. The first one was awesome, the second one was...dumbed down to the point of being unenjoyable.

Now Mad Max could be badass.

The third one is suppose to be a mix of the first 2 styles. So it could be Awesome or meh.
