Archive Cracking

Posted 18 December 2013 - 08:27 PM

Hello friend.

I wanted to build a simple archive cracker that can try to guess a password of an archive file using bruteforce attack. I know the part of generating the password using brute force, but I have no idea how to make those generated passwords be used in guessing the password of archive. In other words, I don't know how to test if a sample password for an archive is correct or not. I would appreciate any help from your side.
Thank you. :)

You will have to build it on your own without any help from DiC. We will not help in any projects like this.

Not only will we not help you, but the BFI method takes O(n!) time, which is most definitely not tractable to compute.
