ASP.NET MVC 5 + Bootstrap tutorials?

Posted 21 December 2013 - 06:29 PM

Hi all,

I'll be studying ASP.NET MVC next semester in college. I really like learning by doing, i.e. when I'm walked through building something where things are explained as you go, and I was wondering if any of you knew of some good tutorials like that for using Bootstrap with MVC? I know MVC 5 uses Bootstrap by default, but I'm having a really hard time finding a tutorial that demonstrates both Bootstrap and MVC. They seem to be either all-ASP or all-Bootstrap. I'd like to be taken through a project where I'm made do both. Could anyone help me out here?

Thanks Laytonsdad, I'll look at those. Regarding ASP.NET MVC, I've noticed that there's relatively little material on the internet about MVC 5 compared to MVC 4, would you recommend jumping into 4 instead? I'm torn about this because ASP.NET MVC 5 seems to use Bootstrap by default (which I'd like to learn as well).

Having bootstrap by default is of no real benefit, were still using MVC 3, and use a lot of bootstrap along with a lot of other cool stuff, i would go with 4 if your learning.
