Well, that just killed any desire I might have had to watch Bleach

the series as a whole is really really good and i recommend it-- it is just the way they stop that sucks

Yes - it did indeed, much to be desired after that last show. I didn't really care for the Fullbringer arc, but from what I heard that final arc in the Manga series really makes me want to see it pan out in the television series.

Record of Lodoss Wars was literally some guy's D&D campaign written down and told as a story. At least to start. I think Chronicles and Crystania aren't, but that's the origin of the anime. It's boring as shit, but Chronicles of the Heroic Knight and Legend of Crystania are enjoyable.

I recently found Attack on Titan on Netflix and watched it. It was pretty good. I then read the manga (starting where the series left off) and have to say it is going to be interesting to see how they portray the story going forward.

I've tried and tried to watch Attack on Titan and the first 10 minutes just can't grab my interest. I'm watching the hook of the story and it's just not grabbing me. I tried muscling through a couple episodes but...I just can't get into it. Dunno why. I want to like it, I just don't.

Now, Black Butler is fun. That dude's one hell of a butler.

Slight necro: just watched Attack on Titan on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. Actually burned through the whole thing in a few days.

Netflix and Anime is a little odd. Initially, they seemed to only go for dubbed; in some cases leaving out the Japanese entirely. Depending on my mood, I like dubbed or subbed. As a rule of thumb, if the show seems profoundly stupid ( and wasn't supposed to be ), the subbed version is better. Mostly because the Japanese voice actors really sell it, even if I don't know what the hell they're saying.

I was surprised, Attack on Titan has no dubbed option, but Netflix picked it up anyway. Hope they keep of the trend of not waiting.

If somebody doesn't invent the 3D manoeuvre device before I become an old man, I'll be seriously pissed.

When I was a little kid watching anime it became clear to me: gravity just mustn't work the same in Japan. Characters routinely make 20 foot leaps and fall from great height with nothing more than I minor grunt. I fell ten feet once and snapped my arm in two...

I did think it was cool the amount of thought put into the 3D device, but I'm pretty sure you have to be a ninja to use it.

Or have strong abs anyways. It says in the mid episode cutscenes that it's physically taxing, which is why basic training is 3 years long.
