I'm just curious about what people believe.

Organized religion is the biggest scam in the very brief history of man.

They pay homage to the woman that birthed Jesus, but they don't worship her. She is just flesh and blood and that would somewhat break the commandment "thou shall have no God but me" It would make her an idol and therefore be a false god(dess)

To each his own, but I say who cares.

You know, asking a religious/philosophical question like this in a realm of computer scientists is just asking for some really bad religion bashing and or a heated debate on the very nature of religion and faith. If god was a program, we would be the ones that ask to see the source code before we would even think it would work in production.

I am a PROUD Catholic and people that believe we worship Mother Mary are seriously misinformed. To those who say they don't care and if they are also Christians, it is a fact that the Catholic Church was started by Jesus. And let it be known that the Catholic Church has been in existence for over 2000 years, we have kept our traditions. Can you say the same for your Christian church(that has broken away from the Catholic Church not too long ago).
For those misguided.

tygerberg, if the Catholic Church has existed "for over 2000 years", I seriously doubt Yeshua started it.
Someone doesn't know why the Protestant branch of Christianity began....or much history for that matter.

I was raised Roman Catholic until I was old enough to choose for myself. I am now against organized religion as a whole. I believe in spirituality. I believe that there is a higher power, but organized religions are ridiculous. Too many rules to live by. My grandmother tells me I am going to be smote every time she gets me on the phone. Laughingly of course and then offers to pray for me.
If I had to choose a religion to follow however, I would follow the religion of the Stargate. We were all created by the Ancients. LOL
