Publishing options?

Posted 08 January 2014 - 11:46 AM

I have an aspx site and I was wondering what are my options to publishing it?

I want to keep it inside to just the network, but people will need to use it with Apple devices too. I'd like the public to not have access to it, because it's mostly useless information.

I have <meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW" /> on it as it is.

You would publish as per normal and just restrict the access via the server's IIS.

but people will need to use it with Apple devices too.

If the device can read a webpage then it can deal with an ASP.NET web form.

Would you happen to know what file it's referring to when it offers this sample code?

<location path="Default Web Site">
<system.webServer>
<security>
<ipSecurity>
<add ipAddress="192.168.100.1" />
<add ipAddress="169.254.0.0" subnetMask="255.255.0.0" />
</ipSecurity>
</security>
</system.webServer>
</location>

I denied all unspecified clients and added some allow ip addresses entries, but couldn't access it.
