The friendster.com has changed their search engine from Yahoo to Google. I think early this year.

It's like google everything. There should be a word in the dictionary that says "GOOGLE". and it means everything.

I was a big altavista user. Boy they have dropped the ball and opened the door to Google I tell you. But it is ok since I love Google and their products. I guess I am one of their best unpaid Google evangelists. I would preech about them in school but every time I approach a kid and say "Hey, wanna see something cool?" they scream and run. Then either the parents, teachers, or cops come a knockin so I usually have to scram pretty quick.

So I gave up on it.

:D

Wow, knocking over old people, scaring other students, cops knocking on your door, wow Martyr2 you, well you're jinxed LOL

Webcrawler, Magellan, then later Yahoo. Yeah, I switched to Google a few years ago when I got tired of waiting for Yahoo's main page to load with all of the graphics and crap. Haven't sent any Yahoo mail in years as well, although I do still use it as as spam bucket. Google was just better. Yahoo does have a great TV Listings service now, however, that Google has yet to parallel (that I know of).

i use(d) Yahoo! That's right I still use it. I use Google when I am searching for errors or something like that, because Google is faster at getting into recent forum posts. But I have always used Yahoo, and didn't really start using Google until recently. Mostly because Yahoo wasn't cutting it for research in school. And now I know if I want any sort of blog/forum answer I use google, I have both a yahoo and google toolbar

Altavista

I remember when Google first came online. There wasn't a hell of a lot of content and it seemed a bit gimicky.

Now I'm always "Googling".

I want a Google-chip to plug in the back of my head. Instant searching and ultimate knowledge.
