Download from autoconfig help

Hello

I am developing a program for a community launcher/downloader
what i am here to ask is there libraries to download a repo through an autoconfig file for downloading and updating the mod

I haven't a clue what you are asking. Can you describe what it is you'd like to happen? Tell it from the users point of view.

I want the user to be able to download from this repo ftp://62.210.148.145....a3s/autoconfig and to download and put these ftp://62.210.148.145/public in a game directory

Parse the data so the Launcher can recognize it and download the repo

The autoconfig is in an .gz file
That's the file in a nutshell it doesn't have an extention

You'll have to find the documentation for the data format for that file and parse it. The decompression from .gz won't be hard since there is ZipLib, but actually parsing the data from the decompressed file maybe harder unless you have documentation because it's a binary file format.

You call it a "repo", is it a standard repository like a Git repository, or a Mercurial repository? Or is it some custom database?

Well the community im doing it for have an old launcher which might have the code i need if someone has the code still

As i have checked in each individual directory has all the files so is there an FTP class i can use to download it on button click? on path set to a directory?
