Treeview with sitemap not working in IE10 or Higher

Posted 14 April 2014 - 03:34 AM

Good day

I have a brainteaser witch I don't know why or how to solve.

I have a asp.net vb application that uses a tree view with a sitemap no navigate between pages. Well everything was working fine until I installed IE 10 or 11 on windows 7 or 8. What it is doing is when you are logged in the tree view seems to be disabled and I don't know why.

I use a master page with the tree view on. So now I don't know is it the master page or the tree view?

Here is my master page code :

<%@ Master Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeBehind="Site.master.vb" Inherits="CMS.Site" %>

<%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="asp" %>
<%@ Register Assembly="GMWClsLib" Namespace="GMWClsLib" TagPrefix="gmw" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en">
<head runat="server">
    <title></title>
    <link href="~/Styles/Site.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="HeadContent" runat="server">
    </asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
    <%--    <style type="text/css">
        .style1
        {
            width: 212px;
            height: 121px;
        }
        .style2
        {
            height: 121px;
        }
    </style>--%>
</head>
<body style="background-color: transparent">

            </tr>
        </table>
    </div>
    </form>
</body>
</html>

I have taken my application to visual basic 2013 with the hope to resolve this but with no success.

If any one have any kind of solution I will appreciate it.

Ok I found the solution we had to upgrade the .NET framework on the servers to 4.5 to fix this.
