Datagridview Click or Double Click Event

Posted 24 April 2014 - 01:05 PM

I was wondering why and how to fix my problem of the DGV cell click and double click events.

My code is working fine, but I find myself having to click the text in the cell, not just the cells open area (left open my another line being larger in size)

I understand it what to do, but its frustrating explaining that to the end user.

CellClick should trigger just clicking in a cell
CellContentClick is triggered by clicking on the content of the cell (ie, text)
CellDoubleClick doesn't care as long as the two clicks are within a quick succession.

I should mention that each of these events are triggered. So if you double click a cell, you also cellclick and if you do it over the contents, you cellclick, cellcontentclick and quite possibly also celldoubleclick

EDIT: forgot I stated that if you double-click a cell.
