Which language should i learn ?

Hi,

I have just completed my secondary education and I am planning to study a programming language. I am very much interested in programming and want to be a good program developer. Can you please help me that which language should I start with. I have already studied c++.should I go for Java/VB/Python ?

Java. If you learn Java you will find it's similar to C#, which is a lot better to know than VB and anything you can do with VB you can do better in C#. Python's not huge and imo pretty ugly

Java, C#, well.. anything else that you think is fun.

I learned Assembly in my first year of study alongside Java. It was interesting, you have to really plan your solutions given the limitations you have. I'm not saying learn it over Java or C# etc, but if you want a challenge, there's no harm giving it a few hours of your life.

If you post in Java, you'll probably find a bias towards Java. I'll move this to Software Development.

This question is literally asked all the time. You will find a plethora of resources if you dig through the forum in search of "which language" type topics. We actually have this pinned thread which is an excellent starting point.
