Yes, frequent breaks are a must. I do the following:
Walk (normally in a short, maybe mile, circle around the building)
Take the stairs (when I do this I normally go for 10 sets of 6 flights)
I have tried leg lifts and crunches as well, but found that they were louder and more distracting to people in the cubes around me, so I stick to push ups now.
