Hmmmm.


If you sectioned off the monitor image in its own div, you could nest the player in that div . Then, you could the set the margins for the player if you found out the size of the monitors bezel. In theory anyway.

Alternatively, you could set your monitor image as a set width. Then there would be no scaling to contend with.

Is the monitor part of the background image or separate? Can you slice it out if it is?

You want to slice it starting on the edge of the monitor.

Hmmm, I tested on four monitor resolutions and 3 browsers and it worked as expected.
