Best way to do this?

Posted 10 May 2014 - 06:09 AM

So I'm making a trading card game and each card can be moved around like chess pieces. So far, I've made the cards simple rectangles and detect if clicks are made within that rectangle and then move them appropriately, but I'm not sure if that's the best solution. What do you guys think?

You've got to give us some more details about how you've done this, and what you are working with. Can you show us the code you have for this now?

I haven't really done much yet tbh because I don't want to waste time coding something that is not very efficient.

Well at least show us this part which you said you have already made. The best way to find a more efficient way is to show what you have, and then see what suggestions/improvements people recommend.
