I do know that i want to make a business tycoon type of game, though if that is to big to start off with, tell me and i'll understand. I am here to learn so hopefully you guys can push me in the right direction

Okay.. yeah.. that 'business tycoon' is a pretty significant game, and, not really well adapted to say a web deb.. but it is doable.

Is there a specific question involved here?

Yea sorry. I just need to know where to get started. I searched on google but a lot of it seemed outdated and im sure html5 has grown a lot since 2011-2014. Im not sure if thats true or not. Since that's something a bit hard to do for a beginner, what would you suggest to make?

Start with a plan.. start by flipping through the pinned resources thread.. in the 'game links'.. etc. Example - you could find a smattering of topics:

http://www.dreaminco...evelopment-1-6/
http://www.dreaminco...ld-html5-webgl/
http://www.dreaminco...5-and-createjs/
http://www.dreaminco...tiplayer-html5/

Personally I would be acquainted with what is 'html5' in general.. Once you are good with that then I would investigate some time in a framework or sdk to help make a game.. sketch out the components of a game, break down an order of what needs to happen when.. then start progressing through.
