Retrieving Data

Posted 29 May 2014 - 05:27 PM

Hello I am making a fantasy sports program. I am struggling to find a way to get the information to my program. I am looking for a way for the program to retrieve the sports statistics from a website that posts it all like nhl.com and then be able for my users to see it in my desktop program. All stats like goals, assists, +/- , etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Just so you know.. NHL.COM is not a fan of you scraping data from their site. I would avoid doing so and find an API to use instead.

You use the method that the site wants you to use. There are several services that provide statistics like that in an API.
