Fun story - I have a cigar tube of jumper pins. *sigh* Not needed so much anymore.

That is how I know I am getting old. I listen to Lithium on Sirius which is 90s early 2000s rock and alternative. All the "good" music from the 90s that I think will always be the best. Now I know how my dad feels about the 60s and 70s rock. Don't get me I wrong I like some of the newer stuff but give some Nirvana, Weezer, PUSA, Soul Coughing, Limp Bizkit, Spacehog or Cake and I will take that over anything else.

I was on a Cake-Weezer bender a couple weeks ago. I tend to binge on certain music for a few weeks, then I'll get tired of it and move on to another genre (this week, it's bluegrass... specifically Devil Makes Three and the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack).

Most of those band have made new stuff. I was a 90s Hard/Alt Rock Fan. I still listen to Metallica in the car

So just how far down do you wanna go?
Well we could talk it out over a cup of joe
Do you have the time to listen to me whine
And speak my point of view? but it's not sane
I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve
And I can keep it up for as long as it takes

I mean, you never know, maybe you're dreaming
And all the roads that lead you there were winding
You never slow down, you never grow old
Come on try a little, nothin is forever
The clock is laughing in my face
It's ruining every day for me

Every morning, every morning when I wake up
Our memories, they can be inviting
But you see it's not me it's not my family
If I had my little way, I'd eat peaches every day
Swim out past the breakers, watch the world die
Until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard

...I could keep going but this is actually kinda hard haha

did you see the Lars Ulrich AMA on Reddit?

I laughed my ass off. Top comment thread went like this

"I LOVE YOU GUYS I'VE TORRENTED ALL YOUR ALBUMS!"

"Me too, except St. Anger, there weren't enough seeders."

and you can guess where this is going.

No, I am not a big AMA fan, but I could imagine some old wounds starting to leak..

I think this was a great troll at the 2000 MTV VMAs.

& a nickle roll filled with 'working' mother board batteries, just in case.

I still listen to the music I listened to in the 80's & 90's, & other than Nirvana, it wasn't any of that garbage. We used to call any date-rape lookin' white guy with a red hat on backwards 'clones'. & sadly, my home town was full of them.

When I used to live down near London, we had fields just outside of town that contained these weird stone sheds. When me and a friend from school decided to investigate, we worked out that each and every one of them was a bomb shelter from WW2. We never really had any bomb shelters like that living up north, since the Germans concentrated their bombings on the capital.
